고리12(NGO), 후성 기업과 함께 자모라노 대학 커피 연구 및 교육 센터에 다양한 실험실 장비를 후원하기 위해 기금을 모금했습니다. 영상에는 두 명의 학생이 후원 장비를 사용하여 커피를 끓이는 모습이 담겨 있습니다.

Funds were raised together with Kori 12 (NGO) and Foosung Corporation to sponsor various lab equipment for the Zamorano University Center for Coffee Research and Education. The video shows two students using the sponsored equipment to brew coffee.

이 프로젝트는 자모라노 대학교 커피 연구 및 교육 센터의 커피 연구 및 분석 역량을 강화하는 데 도움을 주는 것을 목표로 했으며,

The objective for this project is to help strengthen the Zamorano University Center for Coffee Research and Education’s capacity for coffee research and analysis.

현재 그곳에서 공부하고 있는 17개국의 대학원생과 학부생에게 교육을 제공하기 위한 다양한 자재와 장비를 구입하여, 자모라노 대학 커피 연구실에 시설 후원하였습니다.

With the facility sponsorship, Zamorano University was able to purchase various materials and equipment for the coffee laboratory to provide education to graduate and undergraduate students from 17 different countries that currently study there.

2023 F.A.P.A Colombia

FAPA 2023은 IWCA Korea 및 IWCA Colombia와 협력하여 후성코퍼레이션이 주최했습니다.

일주일 동안 진행된 이벤트는 지역 최고의 커피 15개를 선보이는 경매로 출품 된 커피가 모두 팔렸습니다.

FAPA 2023 was hosted by Foosung Corporation in association with IWCA Korea and IWCA Colombia. The week-long event ended with an auction featuring the top 15 coffees in the region. All 15 coffees were sold in the auction.

FAPA 2023에는 한국, 칠레, 미국 출신의 국제 심사위원과 바이어 10명이 콜롬비아 퀸디오에 자리해주셨으며, 이번 대회에 콜롬비아 퀸디오 출신의 84개 생산자 가족이 참가했습니다.

Ten international judges and buyers from Korea, Chile, and the USA were present in Quindio, Colombia, for FAPA 2023. 84 producer families from Quindio, Colombia, took part in the competition.

FAPA는 여성 커피 생산자가 자신의 사업에서 지속 가능한 성장을 추구하도록 지원하는 것으로,

FAPA 콜롬비아를 통해 이 지역의 여성 생산자들이 국제 바이어들에게 소개되었고 그들의 콩들은 커피 주 소비국으로 홍보 되었습니다. FAPA는 입찰자가 생산자로부터 직접 구매할 수 있는 현장 경매로 끝났습니다.

The objective of FAPA was to support women coffee producers to pursue sustainable growth of their own business. Through FAPA Colombia, women producers in the region were introduced to international buyers and their beans were promoted to major coffee consuming countries. FAPA ended with an on-site auction in which bidders were able to buy directly from the producers.

Origin Trip

IWCA 한국지부 회원들이 콜롬비아 퀸디오로 원산지 여행을 떠났습니다. 커피 농장 방문 및 투어, 강의, 아그라도 밀링 스테이션 가이드 투어, 현지 관광 및 FAPA 참여로 진행되었습니다.

IWCA Korea chapter members went on an origin trip to Quindio, Colombia. The stay included coffee farm visits and tours, lectures, a guided tour through Agrado milling station, local sightseeing, and participation in FAPA.

IWCA 한국 지부 회원들은 커피 농장을 방문하여 현지 커피에 대해 배울 수 있는 기회를 가졌습니다. 씨앗을 심고 체리를 따는 체험도 할 수 있었습니다.

IWCA Korea chapter members had the chance to visit a coffee farm to learn about the local coffees. We also were able to plant seeds and pick cherries. 

IWCA 한국 지부 회원들은 국내 라운드와 국제 라운드를 통해 FAPA에 참여했습니다.

IWCA Korea chapter members participated in FAPA through the national round and international round.

어느 날 오후는 Agrado 밀링 스테이션을 통과하는 가이드 투어에 시간을 보냈습니다.

스테이션 전문가로부터 밀링 공정에 대해 배우고 스테이션이 어떻게 작동하는지 확인할 수 있었습니다.

One afternoon was spent on a guided tour through Agrado milling station. We were able to learn about the milling process from the station’s experts and saw how the station operates.

2023 Seoul Cafe Show

제2차 IWCA 국제 회담에는 IWCA 지부 회원들과 IWCA 서포터즈, IWCA 한국 신규 회원들이 함께했습니다.

Fellow IWCA chapter members joined us for the 2nd annual IWCA International Summit, along with IWCA supporters and new IWCA Korea members.

이번 회에서는 Carolina Padilla(엘살바도르 커피 연구소), Lais Peixoto Costa(IWCA 브라질), Anupama Sreeramaneni(Naandi 재단) 및 Emma Sage(CQI)의 프레젠테이션이 진행되었습니다.

This summit featured presentations from Carolina Padilla (El Salvadoran Coffee Institute), Lais Peixoto Costa (IWCA Brazil), Anupama Sreeramaneni (Naandi Foundation), and Emma Sage (CQI).

참석자들은 아시아, 아프리카, 중앙아메리카, 남아메리카의 커피를 들고 IWCA 커핑 세션에 참여했습니다.

Summit attendees participated in an IWCA cupping session with coffees from Asia, Africa, Central America, and South America.
