2022 IWCA Korea Youth Scholarship (Honduras)

대학생들이 커피 산업에서 전문 교육을 받고 커피 분야에서 성공적인 경력을 쌓을 수 있는 기술을 개발할 수 있도록 하기 위해 IWCA Korea에서 청소년 장학금을 지원하였습니다.

The IWCA Korea Youth Scholarship’s objective is to support university students in their goals to obtain a professional education in the coffee industry and develop their skills to have a successful career in coffee.

2022년 9월 6일 IWCA 온두라스와 함께, 4명의 장학금 수혜자들의 시상식이 진행되었습니다.

The virtual ceremony with IWCA Honduras and the four scholarship recipients was held on September 6, 2022.

2022 Knowledge Exchange

본 프로젝트는 다른 나라의 커피 산업에 대한 이해와 지식을 높이고, IWCA 원산지 국가의 커피를 한국 소비자들에게 소개하는 것으로, IWCA 온두라스와의 2022년 웨비나(정보 교환)에서는 커피 종자 및 묘목, 커피 재배, 가지치기, 비료, 한국 커피 문화 및 역사 등의 주제를 다루었습니다.

This project’s objectives are to enhance understanding and knowledge about the coffee industry in other countries and to introduce coffee from IWCA origin countries to Korean consumers. The 2022 Knowledge Exchange with IWCA Honduras covered the following subjects: coffee seed and nursery, coffee growth, pruning, fertilizer, and the Korean coffee culture and history.

Coffee Academy

IWCA 한국 커피 아카데미는 소외계층 여성들에게 커피 관련 교육과 훈련을 제공하여 자신의 사업과 경력을 개발할 수 있는 기술을 지원하는 서울여성복지회관과의 공동 프로젝트입니다.

The IWCA Korea Coffee Academy is a joint project with the Seoul Women’s Welfare Center to support disadvantaged women with the skills to develop their own business and career by providing them with coffee-related education and training. 

이번 마스터 클래스 (Open My Own Cafe 101)는 IWCA 한국 회원 이경선 님과 최희정 님이 진행했습니다.

This Master Class (Open My Own Cafe 101) was taught by IWCA Korea members Lora lee and Hee Jeong Choi.

이 프로그램은 카페를 소유하고 운영하는 데 필요한 기본 기술을 가르쳤습니다.

The program taught fundamental skills that are necessary in owning and operating a cafe.

2022 Seoul Cafe Show

IWCA 네트워크의 수많은 글로벌 챕터 멤버들과 서포터들이 서울 카페쇼에 모였습니다.

Many global chapter members and supporters of the IWCA network gathered at the Seoul Cafe Show.

IWCA 국제 회담은 서울카페쇼 기간 동안 개최되는 연례 행사로, 이번 행사애 글로벌 챕터 회원들이 서로 만나고 소통할 수 있는 공간은 물론, 강연 및 IWCA 커핑 세션에도 참여할 수 있는 공간을 제공하였습니다.

The IWCA International Summit is an annual event held during the Seoul Cafe Show. This event provides a space for global chapter members to meet and communicate with each other, as well as to participate in lectures and an IWCA cupping session.

IWCA 국제 회담 행사에 참석한 글로벌 챕터 멤버들이 가져온 다양한 커피 샘플로 커핑 세션을 진행하였습니다.

The IWCA International Summit included a cupping session with a wide variety of coffee samples brought by the global chapter members who attended the event.
